I' currently on my second pair of H-D boots that were called "Hustin" water-proof when I ordered them a few years ago.
They have orange soles and I like them so well that I ordered a "back-up" pair for when my current ones go in the garbage.

I really like the inside-the-calk zipper that makes them much easier to put on and take off and they have no logos displayed, only the silver loop that connects the strap.

They were a bit expensive (about $200) but I wear them when I ride and also anytime that I'm not wearing sneakers!

I won't buy boots off the Internet. If you have a local LEO store they usually have a decent selection of tactical boots. I like steel toes because a couple times I've had stuff fly up off the highway or drop from a truck that have hit my feet.

I have theses boots too. Wear them year round. I've had them about 4 years and have no complaints.

I wear the Harley Engineer Boots with a side zip, probably too tall for your preference. Got a pair of Red Wings as well, which have been very comfortable. I had a pair of Milwaukee Trooper boots though for a very long time. Held up well, double zipper + Laces. Leather held up over many years and I ended up walking through the insole and tread on the bottom. Not much of a boot/shoe guy, usually only have a pair or two at a time, only reason I haven't picked up another pair of them really.

I ordered a pair of HD Scout boots off Amazon for $99 yesterday. A lot of positive reviews

Amazon Amazon

As I said, generally not a fan of HD branded stuff, but this one had a lot of positive reviews and the one silly badge can't be seen under normal use. And the Wolverine brand seems reliable enough, so there you go.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions!

I'm looking for a pair in 15WWWW. Preferably no black and would like a zipper if anyone runs into a pair in their travels.

I wear these for thousands of hours every year as my daily work boots. I'm pretty hard on them and they hold up better than any station boot I've ever had. Non-slip soles. Steel toe. Zipper for easy on/ off. Very comfortable. I always cut the fringe off the bottom of my zippers, but dealers choice. I think they make the perfect riding boot.
