Thanks LoneBone !! Here in Mich. we used our sissy bar bag if we needed to carry small stuff. Never saw a bag strapped there in front !!.

That would be a Motor Harry. Now between the clutch and brake pedals that would a tool or stash bag as we used to call them.

Never needed to carry tools. I didn't break down. My scooters were maintained well and very reliable. My first build was a 1941 80 cube flathead. second was a 56 pan head. Neither ever let me down and I simply didn't ride stupid. Sold both scooters running great !!

I said stash Harry haha! I’m a 50’s child. I hear ya on the tools I still don’t carry any. Build them right and they don’t break down.

Nice bike. Spool hub on the front and drum on the rear. Definitely old school. Don't see many jockey shifts with chain linkage anymore. On my rigids I always ran my tool bag on the sissybar or between the handlebars. With the fiberglass bags on the 65 and the 84 tool bag goes in the right saddlebag. My only rigid now is a 49 EL. Tool bag gets bungee corded to the rack on the rear fender.

Interesting comment, but I always needed to adjust something after 2000-2500 miles and several days of riding before the return trip home on the 52 Pan. Wasn't a mtter of breakdowns, simply a matter of adjustments. After 2-3 days of riding, a few hours were spent cleaning and checking for anything that needed adjustment...and at times even a roadside repair. Last time was back in 2011, back roads of Sturgis, a weld on the stock passing lamp bracket gave out (84 FLH). Zip tie and some duct tape (from the tool bag) provided the temporary fix.

Sweet bikes of the two shown. Any others?

Be cool to find one of these types to buy for a second bike. But without paying 75k....

Did not notice the jock shifter so I stand corrected....why is that ridiculous tool bag that far down on the frame between the "clutch pedal and rear brake pedal ??

Other than that tool bag I like the bike !!
