Default Road pictured in latest Harley Davidson mailer question

Sorry I don't have the pic, scanner isn't working at the moment. Also tried to google it and couldn't find the right ad. I just got a mailer and on the inside page it showed a pic of a guy wearing a FF helmet on the left side of the pic and he's on top of a mountain looking down at a curved road that leads down the mountain. The wife wanted to know where this location is? The caption said FREE[ER] to go where the road takes you and the front page said, FREE[ER] to find your freedom.

Think I recall seeing that photo and at the time it reminded me of a road maybe in NE Utah. I remember a climbing turning, twisting road not far from Flaming Gorge as I rode northbound. Seems like there was a series geological information signs as I rode up, some pretty amusing....one said, “Nothing of particular significance found here.”

Well, couldn’t resist looking up the road I had in mind in my post above. Pretty sure it’s Utah state route 44 and I suspect someone will assist since it was 20 years ago for me.

I finally got a scan of the ad. Anybody know what road this is?

I have rode all over the west, but I got nothing. It does look like fun.

Italy? I don't know. I've seen pics of roads like that there. Anyway, it looks like fun on a bike.

I was just there a little over a year ago. The lakes and the paved pull off strips give it away. I've never seen pull offs like those any where else.
