In my twenties, cuz I didn't drive a car, I rode all year long.
My only mode of transportation for decades has been my bike. I did purchase a pickup truck at one time, but eventually sold it due to my not using it.

When I was in Green Bay Wisconsin for a couple of years, I picked up a beaten to death Honda 750 from a local MC for $200. Bald tires front and rear and rode it all winter. I did change the oil to 5w30 and really, it worked out fairly well. (I only wiped out a couple of times going around corners and hitting an ice patch ...... oops) Once spring arrived it was back to my regular bike. Before I left the land of cow poop and beer farts, I polished the thing up, removed as much rust as I could and sold it for $500. Never did change the tires!

Paintslinger 16 - You got HAMMERED with snow & Arctic conditions this week. What, like 3' of snow? How'd ya like King Cuomo shutting down Rt 81 and putting all that truck traffic thru town?

I envy the guys that can ride their HD all year. Maybe someday..........

The salt still on the roads but tomorrow will be mid 50s and Sunday will be low 60s. How can I not ride? Just rinse after riding.

Yes 3 feet yesterday, Watertown is at 122 inches (10 feet) so far, I live on Tug Hill so more then that, but no official number.
after the storm its worst in the city with no place to put it, but I got to say as much snow as we always get, they don’t call them Blizzards very often.

No I do not ride in the winter unless I'm getting paid to ride...

Usually putting her in her corner in the garage mid November and she will start coming out of hibernation early to mid March ...

There is no enjoyment in freezing my ***** off and no reason to get the salt and sand all over my personal bike.

I'm in Fredericksburg VA

I ride years round, unless there is snow on the road. I have left my Home in TN in Dec or Jan to ride to FL.. Snow on the road is about all that stops me from riding.
