When is Harley going to skip all the stage Options and just put a turbo on a engine
All the car manufacturers are putting turbos on most of their Cars and trucks for better gas mileage and horsepower . I really would like to see them skip the whole stage thing . And see them produce a M8 engine with a stock OEM turbo on it .
And I’m not looking for some big *** racing thing that sticks out like a sore thumb . Just a first Gen turbo that’s good enough to equal a stage III set up .

Going to stray off course a little here, car/truck manufacturers are going to the 4 cyl. turbo'ed engines to meet Euro. standards so that their products can be sold in Europe. The M8 engine was built around euro. standards hence some of the transfer of fluids problems. My question would be why add something like a turbo that would need an intercooler to cool the air going in and just generate more heat that some riders won't tolerate?

In my limited understanding of Turbos, a single turbo would not give the Torque range that is needed for big heavy Harleys the way most of us ride them. . So, you’d either need a large dual stage, or twin turbos.
