Not at all in the same category. California has the highest volume of motorcycles. I wonder why you never see Ninja’s on the open road.

Because they are all at the race track racing.

You can get an SV650, Yamaha XSR, Bolt, Kawaski vulcan or any Z model, or any bike in that price range with better performance and price.

I dont recall any Harley street when I do my commute. All I see are Goldwings, Baggers, BMW GS, and loads of sportbikes on the road currently

Depends on the road....
EDIT-Didn't realize this is a "CCE" thread, otherwise I wouldn't have contributed.

If they it had a worthy bike for that price it would but the streets are a an ugly, cheap looking fugging joke, just by a decent brand import and get a real bike for that money.

The Streets are jap bikes. Only decent entry level HD is a 1200 Sport, and that's almost 12Gs. So; NO.

I think most of you guys are completely overlooking the Street Rod 750. For $8,699 it's an excellent machine. Slightly weird ergonomics, but a damn good machine for the money.

Most dealers will sell them for invoice, which is 6K ish.
