Default Saddleman vs Mustang

I have a reach issue on my ‘18 Street. Trying to determine if the Saddleman LS Slim will lower me enough and have some comfort or if the Mustang Wide Tripper w/br will work better. I have read the Wide Tripper May not be too comfortable for long rides.

You may get replies of someone that has experience with the seats you are asking about but at the end of the day it is your *** that ends up on the seat. Pretty sure there is a return policy on most seats so you could check and go that route. Or you could attend a large rally where there will be different seat vendors. But welcome to the forum and best of luck.

My mustang seat on my RK looks great but im shifting around after about an hour in the seat and my legs start bugging me. No problem with the OEM 2up seat.

Im going to have the mustang seat redone by a local upholsterer with a gel section and reshaped that he says will transform it.

Love the look of the seat but needs work. Not sure what it will look like when it actually feels right.

if you want a comfy seat I suggest you take a look at Ultimate seats, their quality and comfort is second to none, probably one of the best kept secrets in the biking world.
My buddy has just fitted this seat to his Road King and swears by it, previously he suffered with back issues riding any distance, since fitting this seat he can now ride all day without any issues.

Admittedly this isn't a seat to seat comparison. But I've owned and been very happy with a Mustang seat for 14 or 15 years. It's holding up well.
Our experience with Saddleman was a set of bags on my wife's Deluxe. The poorest excuse for a latch that I've ever seen. We replaced them probably 3 times and they kept falling off. Eventually the bags went to the dump.

I've had both Mustang and Saddleman. Liked them both. In the end only your butt will determine which is best for you.
