This whole thread is just a thinly veiled attempt by Keithy's alter ego to interject politics into General.

Sears is dying... but life goes on.
Hechinger died...but life goes on.
MoCo survives or not... life goes on.
If all these “HD is doomed!” stories & threads bother you, I’d suggest some therapy. I have stock in both Polaris & HD. Neither one is doing well right now but I’m not screaming on the internet “THE END IS NIGH!”
FYI- I went to the Int’n’al Motorcycle show in Cleveland this past weekend. The line to test ride the Zero electric bike was pretty damn long. Electric bikes are part of life. Just ride & enjoy what you own.

Also anyone who enjoys the dealerships on every other corner as I see posted on this site time and time again. People preach all the time about Indian or BMW and the dealer network not being available like HD. Well if HD starts to tank so will all those dealerships and what will you end up with?

The "thanks to tariffs" stuff is just nakedly political spin.
Does anyone seriously think HD would be a healthy company, if only for those darned tariffs?
This is a company with serious, structural issues. They will either figure it out, or they won't, but nothing that happens in Washington is going to make much difference either way.

Indian only took a hit because the slingshot is classified as part of PI's motorcycle division. Indian itself made some gains in market share. Indian is lucky as PI has very diverse portfolio and doesn't rely on one product like HD.
