Enclosed cargo trailers
Couldn't really find a thread dedicated to those who sometimes trailer their bikes. We live in Kentucky and spring sometimes takes her sweet time getting here, so I picked up an enclosed trailer yesterday. My schedule allows me a couple of weeks off every 6 weeks and thought it would be nice to load the bike up and visit friends and relatives down south. Anyone have any pics of their trailer to show off? Kind of looking for ideas on how to set it up. Mines not perfect, but solid, dry, and I got a good deal on it. Let's see em if you got pics!

Look up stealth campers. Many folks use cargo trailer for many reasons. We use this when our big camper is too big for the place we are going.
I have an 8x18. Removed the side panels and put in 1 inch foam panels for insulation..I use a portable room AC unit. Wife found a Haebor Freight portable elec heater. Eventually I'll put in a power distribution box and run electrical for convenience. I have a articulated TV mount which works nice. For beds we bought camp cots. Much more comfortable than air matresses.
For bike tie downs I used the flush mount. All mounts will require work under the trailer for additional supports. The frame members just didn't line up for me. And stagger the bike mounts if setting up for two bikes. I didn't do that.
Mine is dual purpose, not just for camping. So I have tie down on the walls high and low. I use ratchet straps to secure the Co tents while traveling.
Good Luck. Google will point to lots of good, and overkill, information.

Your question is too vague
Wheel bearing and size of tires are paramount.
Little wheels need a LOT more atn, then bigger ones.
If you don't know the history it is mandatory to strip it dwn and pack wheel bearings and check brakes.
Replace tires with cracked sidewalls etc.
Check tire Pressure B4 every trip.
A single axle trailer is even more important.
Any cargo trailer needs a light on the inside and a fire ext.near the door.
Hitch and chains inspect and replace as necessary.
Cheap type of ball couplers - replace with split type.
Inspect roof for leaks and that it is attached really well

,,, which is sort of too bad !
Hint Mods !
We maybe could use one for folks who live in the nawth who might trailer south for a mid winter riding vacation and/or use an enclosed trailer for winter storage and occasional utility use. Trailers are versatile and as worthy of a dedicated thread as say, ,,, oil .
