Scammers and Trolls
We recently had a troll here by the name of SophieM. When she started her threads, a bunch of people jumped in screaming "TROLL, TROLL". As it turns out they were correct. However, they had no proof of it. In truth I suspected she was too. At that point I and several other members defended her and called for the "Troll Detectives" to back off. That was the correct action to take. No one could prove that she was trolling and therefore had no business giving her crap. Our rules do not allow that. We expect all members to treat others with respect. That will not change.
The proper action to take if you think someone is breaking the rules (Trolling is against the rules), is to notify a moderator, not to put them on trial in the general forums. Let us do our job. We do not allow vigilante justice here.
One of our members was able to track her down and revealed her as the troll she is. That was posted in one of her threads. We would have preferred that that member would have notified us instead, but in any event, her disguise was revealed. Her threads have been removed and so has she.
Once again, if you think someone is breaking the rules here, contact a moderator. Do NOT take it upon yourself to call them out in the general forums.

Trolling is making posts to get a reaction, start trouble, or get people to go to another site for business.
