My 07 Road King has a factory alarm. It only flashes the lights a few times if someone moves the bike without the fob near the bike. Has anyone added a horn or other audible device to their 2007 and older alarm or if you had the Harley audible alarm, did you remove it for any reason? I have the wiring schematic and their is a plug for the OEM alarm module but I don't really want the loud Harley "alarm" going off, just something to remind people that the alarm is active.

 

The Harley Alarm is plug and play, it will chirp a couple of times to remind you the alarm is active, then if the bike is moved more it will start screeching and is pretty loud. Just wear ear plugs if you are messing with it in the garage - don't ask me how I know this.

there are posts where people added a radio shack siren of some sort to the system, rather than buy the HD add on horn ( $$$$$ )
