Got a SG and took antenna off don’t listen to radio when I ride. Ride is enough but the gps has found me a way home several times! So I got nothing to help this thread.

However, you can buy a new Street Glide standard for $21,289.00. If they do come back with an EG standard in today's money, I imagine it would still top 20k.

If you do a search of dealer inventory you can usually find brand new unsold FLHTP Electraglide Police bikes. Just replace the seat and add a set of passenger pegs and you've got an Electraglide standard in black, white, dark blue or red (firefighter).

Don't see the EG Standard coming back. I could put a fairing on a Road King but I'd much rather have the instruments up in the fairing and I like the bars the EG comes with. So when I'm ready to buy I'll try and find a FLHTP.

There are somedays that I wish the MOCO would offer a removable fairing for the King...and some days I love just the regular old windshield.

I've owned an Electra Glide and 2 Road Kings and I prefer the RK in almost every way. But I do prefer the gauge placement on the Electra Glide over the RK. I hate having to take my eyes off the road and look down at my gas tank/dash cover to check my speed on the RK.

If the MoCo offered a removable fairing it would probably cost $5000. No thanks, I would still go aftermarket for something like that.

No, I was hoping to find out more on the forum. Doesn't seem like anyone else has heard this. Or they're not talking, lol.

By all means go the police bike route. I've had my 09 since it retired. I added a trunk, dual seat and a stage 1. I like the hockey puck bag latches and red switches. It looks like an EG not an SG. It was an affordable way for me to get a bagger.

Harley should just throw a batwing fairing, bigger bags and topbox, and the 114 onto the Sport Glide.
