The deal maker is the price you get for your bike on trade, somehow the numbers do not match up for me.

That's correct, with almost free financing the dealers won't dicker on MSRP/freight/setup/lowball trade-in and other markup tactics. The financing deal isn't free money, you pay for financing in other ways.
And not everyone will qualify for .99% apr.

I agree, I'm sure the dealer would get their money money elsewhere. It is very tempting, however I like having no payment at the momment and my road king is paid off

Wow.....that is a very tough call. %.99 is approaching free money status. Having a payment after not having one sucks......but knowing you aren't getting fleeced with the interest rate is good peace of mind. They won't budge much on price.....but it's not like they usually budge a lot anyways. Heck.....if you want the bike then go for it. We're dead for a long time bud.

Yep.. agreed 100%, that is why I said .99% with 2k below MSRP OTD is a deal that maybe not worth passing up. .99% at MSRP with Freight/Setup/etc... that is easy to pass up. Some are saying don't test ride because you'll want one. I test rode the 17's, 18's, & 19's and still always leave on my paid for '09. But then again my bike is FAR from stock. I get back on mine with the FM 107, aftermarket suspension, etc, etc and there really isn't anything about the new bikes that makes me say.. I got to have this thing. It's smoother then mine, I'll give the MoCo that, but my bike and 20k + for a bit smoother... Nah....

Actually it is free when you factor in our average inflation.
