So there was the 95th Anniversary Edition bikes, then in 2003 the 100th Anniversary and now another Anniversary year in 2008? Isn't this getting to be ridiculous? The 100th Anniversarybikes made sense to me. There never will be another 100th Anniversary in HD history, which is why I bought one. But a 105th year anniversary? Come on! A some point, HD needs to try a fresh new approach rather than using the same old marketing ideas.

They have missed out on the 101, 02,03,04 th so they must have been hanging out for this one....

Its a bit like school re unions... they were fun for a while but just get boring as they go on and on and on...

The anniversary colors are going to be Purple.

 

Should be no anniv bikes less than every decade. Every 25 would make sense.

What they COULD do is have some special editions like the CVOs, just more along the lines of ornamentation than performance.

Like a NASCAR Sportster, or another sports team. Or a Jack Daniels (black bike, rounded barrell pegs, etc.).

 

Lol Harley likes to do a aniversary edition every 5 years. Its no big deal, but it would be cool to see an actually limited edition bike come out.

 

The only Anniversary for this model year (08), is it has been 100 Years that HD has been producing Police Bikes.

Other than that, it is a bit overkill that every 5 yrs they come out with some Anniversary crap.
