Death of the Dyna....
Now that the Mothership has merged Dynas and Softails into one line which excites me even less than the touring line, I guess the only CVOs we will see henceforth will be touring bikes. I truly would have liked to see one more SuperGlide or Fatboy or even Fatbob CVO offering before they merged them.
Guess I'm just not a fan of the newer bikes, at least to assuredly say I'll probably never buy another new one......

I have & not that impressive for the money - lots of options to make the pre 18 softails ride just as nice & you wont break the bank! have you rode the new softail 2 up? terrible is how my wife described it - no back rest, the seat is terrible & no matter how much you play with the shock it doesn't take away from what they removed (back rest).
solo it is a nice ride - just not for me & by the time you add onto it you just put back all the weight they hyped that was removed, as well the gauge of metal is not there, fit & finish is lacking......I don't know seems like you get a lot less for a lot more you have to spend? theres times I see one & it appeals to me then I sit on it & nope - ill stick with my 15 & put on the 422 rap`s.

I bought the last Superglide on the showroom floor. No regrets yet.

If Harley had unlimited resources they would keep every model bike around indefinitely. But since bikes from the touring line make up the vast majority of sales and Dyna sales were falling year after year, it really made no sense to keep it around. If there was a huge demand for them, they would have stayed around. The goal is to sell bikes.
