Default Bike builders (choppers), I have a question for you.

One day, I’m going to build me a bike. I’ve been looking at some pictures and I’ve noticed that some bikes only have one lever. Some on left side some on right but never two for the brakes and clutch.
So are the levers for brakes or clutch? If it’s brakes, is the trans automatic? If it’s for clutch, they use foot brakes?

Only one of those bikes has front brakes and they don't appear to be hooked up.

Yup.

OP only the first picture has a working front brake and that's just barely, 2 have no front brakes and the springer has one that isn't hooked up. 3 of those bikes are foot clutch & jockey shift setups. Not something I'd recommend to a rank ameture beginner.

Don't need a front brake lever on the bars if you don't have a front brake. On the choppers I had they had front brakes. Not just for stopping power but there are hills here everywhere. Stop on a hill with no front brakes not much fun.
