I have seen several times on the forum people saying Harley needs to release a stripped down bagger with a fairing. They released this morning a 2019 Harley Electra Glide Standard. Nothing posted on their site yet but it was announced on their facebook page. Keeping an eye out for more details!

*edit* Looks like starting at $18,999 with security and cruise standard, ABS optional. No radio/speakers

Exactly what I was thinking lol. I loved the sport glide but I think it would be silly to spend basically equal money on that vs this. heck this thing is slightly cheaper than the road king!

 

Sales must really be slumping. They usually don’t announce bikes until August, although, to be fair, I’m not too sure the 30k electric Sportster is going to sell very well.

 

love it, this is a step in the right direction, good job harley, a more reasonable priced bike that looks great.

 

Good decision and at that price point I hope they sell a **** ton of them.

 

So now there is a way to spend less on a oil sumper?

 

I bought a new Standard in 2007 and I think it was $16,500 . And it had that big *** ugly seat on it. Smart move HD.
