I test rode one last year, at a rally in North Georgia. Even though it had an ugly green paint job, I was immediately smitten by the ride. But, budget prevailed; new CVO is not in the cards for me.
Lets see:
$40k too much for a bike,
it’s got no chrome,
it’s not an old outdated evo,
it’s got abs,
it’s got gps,
....what else can we add to the cry list.
Its not for someone that wants to finance it on a $25k salary. Much as a $150K Corvette ZR1 is not for the average Joe. Hell, who needs to go that fast to the grocery store, when a Toyota Yaris can do the same trip for $16K?
edit: Oh yeah, I recently saw one at Las Vegas HD. It had a $3K dealer markup on it.
When I win the lottery I will be in the market for a bike the wife and I can see American on, and you can bet the cvo limited will be on the top of the list for contenders...
