Ever had parts stolen off your bike?

Had my 2011 Wide Glide stolen. May have had some rear turn/brake lens cap covers stolen or they may have just fell off. Bought a couple spares just in case. Most of the helmets I usually wear aren't that expensive and haven't been messed with. I finally bought a nice Shoei and when I wear it, I tend to take it inside with me unless the bike will stay in my view. Though when gassing up I sometimes will hit the head and leave it on the bike.
The sissy bar and luggage rack on my SGS are quick release so those are in danger of being stolen as I pretty much leave them on all the time.
Both my bikes now have the security system with remote pager. They could probably get some parts off without tripping the alarm but if they bump the bike too much, I'm on my way and a very good chance my Colt 1911 is on me at the time.

The only thing missing from my bike was the two small flags I had at the base of the antennas.
Last summer my riding buddy- who has a Tri Glide converted to hand controls, (he's paralyzed from the waist down) had a special inflatable seat cushion taken off his bike when we ducked into a gas station/convenience store- it happened in Idaho in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, the bikes were parked just outside of the range of the security camera. We filed a police report but not much else could be done. The store manager and police were very apologetic. Hopefully Karma will get the thief.
