Default Ever had parts stolen off your bike?

Say, if you were parked at the store for example.

I had a battery stolen out my bike in an apt parking lot. That's about it, except I've had 2 bikes stolen.

I had my gas cap stolen, and the dumb *** was walking with it in his hand when caught. When the police officer asked him about it. He said he found it ,and then threw it into the wood so far we never found it . Then took off running and was caught a mile down the road and taken to the police dept .

Had a tool pouch stolen off the superglide. I had to leave it overnight by a friends house. Gone when i picked it up but they didnt take my sissy bar bag. Trying not to be too obvious i guess. Now that i think of it, it may have been someone who knew i had personal attachment to the sissy bar bag. Hmmm.

Never. Not only never, but I ALWAYS leave my helmet on my bike except when I go into the hotel for the night.

Interesting question tho......

Not parts, but I had a pair of chaps that were bunged on the sissy bar stolen outside of a bar once and a helmet stolen off the bike outside of another bar. hmmm, I see a pattern here. I rarely go to bars anymore anyway.
One more reason I like my touring bike with locking bags.
