Does HD clear coat their rims?
Reason I ask is, a neighborhood male cat has decided to start spraying around our house. Three time now I have had to clean cat pi** off the rear rim and brake rotor. Needless to say, his days are numbered...
I have noticed a couple of spots on the rim where the cat pi** has discolored the aluminum unpainted part of the rim. The pi** has etched either the aluminum or the clear coat. I would like to use a mild polish like turtle wax or something like it to try and get rid of the marks on the rim if possible, but I don't want to remove all the clear coat IF they are clear coated either.

I guess I should have worded it, "his days are numbered living around here". He is one of the feral cats that roam the area.
We never have had this kind of problem with any of them in the past, but I can't have him stinking up the garage AND causing damage like this.

I completely understand, I’m just glad you’re not someone that was gonna set out to end the life of the cat. I
