How about a guy whose only experience on two wheels is bicycles and motor scooters was in college some 20 years prior, and wants to buy a motorcycle to ride with his supervisor and some other co workers to some local watering holes they frequent. It has to be a Harley, because that's what the other guys ride, and as one co worker allegedly said, "We don't ride that Jap Crap." Also suggested to him was to get at least a Road King or Softail, because Sportsters are "chick bikes", and helmets are for pussies. Oh and b.t.w., this guy has never dealt with a manual transmission either.

Hopefully the coworkers that told him this were just messing with him, but it wouldn't surprise me either if they had been serious.
