Aging rider seeks advice...

Hey guys, I’m considering my last motorcycle purchase before I ride off into the sunset. Which of the two scenarios do you think makes for the best option? I am 145 lbs , close to 70 years old, and still in reasonably good shape.

BIKE A) comfortable but heavy (850 lbs)
BIKE B) uncomfortable but light (450 lbs)

Bike A. Ride off into sunset in comfort

Bike A, go for the comfort, 450 pounds is just as heavy as 850 pounds when the bike is laying on it`s side.

I'm about your age and weight, went with a Low Rider. 644 pounds dry and a joy to ride. My touring days are over so I didn't need all the extra's of a bagger. Although, gotta say that another Road King would be sweet.

The only time 850lb comes into play is when it falls over and you have to pick it up. Go with bike A.

Those options are about exactly what my bikes weigh, respectively.

Get one of each.

C: Dyna... Comfy @ 650 lbs.

Keep looking..

I'm about the same age but I've got 70 lbs on you. I still ride a dresser 18-30,000 miles a year.

Do whatever you're comfortable with!

I'd go with the Lighter Bike and make it Comfy .
