This is the one I currently have.
The only negative was the model I have (there is a newer style/model out) does not have a heat shield on the leg.
My wife and I made one and put it on (not before I burnt a hole in the leg though).
I keep mine in the saddle bag all the time, the reason i bought A compact rain suit.
Getting one that fits you properly & Putting it on correctly are probobly the most important things.
My chaps/pants get a little wet at the bottom, but never higher than my boots so it is not uncomfortable.
I like the One piece over the two (personally) because I stay drier than with two piece suits (but that's me).

Olympia New Horizon Jacket and Pants. Costs just under $200 for the set- have been thru heavy rain wearing this and no problems with leaks, etc........ Nomex inserts to protect against hot pipes.

I have the HD packable rain suit and it is so-so ok. Keeps me fairly dry and it was pretty . Plus it packs nicely in the saddle bag. I have looked at and want (WANT) either Aerostitch or Klim jackets and keep the HD rain pants. (those work pretty well) The intent with the expensive jackets is that I can wear that all the time on our trips. Then I don't have to stop and change on the road. Good luck on your choice.

Are rain suits good for cold temperatures as well to keep the wind off of you?

They help as a windbreaker, and offer a bit of warmth- better than nothing- in cooler temps. I put mine on when we went up to 8500' in Idaho last summer, temperature went from 80 do 50, and the jacket helped quite a bit till we went back down the other side and temps recovered.
