Default Odd Lighting...Quirk? Thing?

So my new (to me) 02 Fatboy, when I turn the ignition on, after a couple seconds the front and rear turn signals blink 2-3 times in unison, neither my 02 Nighttrain or my 13 Roadglide did that, is it something caused by the LED turn signals in it? Was thinking alarm but there was no fob or anything with the bike...

Don't know about your insurance company but my State Farm folks told me an alarm didn't get me a discount unless I had an audible siren, or something audible that would sound off.

Sounds like the fob is on the bike somewhere, otherwise it would not start. Doubtful it's a factory alarm.

sometimes the engine light won’t illuminate, depends on the code. My 01 deuce would flash the turn signals after it started. Took me a few but I finally found the tag light bulb was not connected. I connected it and no more flashing lights. Double check all your light bulbs to make sure they’re all working.

My '01 Heritage did that a few years back. It was a bad turn signal module. It didn't affect anything, and I ran it like that for almost 2 years. Finally replaced it when the dealership gave me a free one that someone had paid for and never picked up. I really don't know what the problem was, all signals and lights worked fine the entire time.
