OK; here are the 7 features I would NOT want in a new Harley:

Stupid looking rear fenders (my biggest, #1 gripe)
Stupid security system. Biggest PITA ever, with that fob crapola.
Frame that looks like a Honda VLX (the new Softails)
Please get rid of the "Live to Ride" & "Willie G skull" crap already. It is more than played out & hokey. Thankfully, they seem to have phased out all that "chrome cover" garbage.
Denim finishes. And, enough with the blacked-out crap already.
Anything but a 16 on the front & rear of a touring bike.

Unfortunately, all the new Harleys got this crap...which is why my "buying new" days are over.

WTF is with the pic? Was this thread created by a bot, or someone in India?

Still curious about the results. Unless they're all in that pic. And in that case there's way more than 7.

Except for the Softail comment, I agree with the rest. I consider my 2018 Heritage an "Ugly Duckling" but it's the best riding and handling of the 5 Harleys I've owned.

Agreed. Finally a CCE article that makes sense. Try reading this one.

#4, the quip about power windows, well an electronically adjustable windshield is just awesome. Sadly Harley's attempt at removing electronics looks just like someone stole the stuff off the bike. They should have at least expended the effort to provide a hinged cover over the hole left by removing the screen. Tacky, cheap, and lazy, are three words that came to mind when I saw that.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I also agree with everything the CCE says here. Never thought I’d be saying that.
