Smile Air Filter Wet With Gas

I have been trying to chase down this problem. Need help.
I have a 2000 Softail Heritage Classic with a CV carb. It has 60,000 km on it.When the bike is running there is a very light mist of gas collecting on the back of the air filter it condenses there and drips out of the bottom of air cleaner cover.
I have rebuilt the carb with a new float needle and set the float height correct using the factory manual. (Didn't Help)
I checked the float needle seat for leaks with soapy water, it will hold 5 psi before it lifts.
I disconnected the accelerator pump. (Didn't help)
Replaced the intake gaskets.(Didn't help)
I have checked my adjustable push rod length. Its good. (Didn't help)
Compression test shows 150 back cylinder. 180 front cylinder.
5% leak down front cylinder, 10% leak down rear cylinder
I have replaced the CV vacuum slide. (Didn't help)
I am wondering if the replacing the CV needle and the CV needle jet would help?
Don't know what else to try.
Thanks for any help:
Pete

I have already read Docs answer. And it is a very interesting read. But that still doesn't solve my problem.
My bike never did this before and putting a Panty shield on the air cleaner is only a band aid solution.
There is something happening with my motor and when I find out what it is. I will share.
Looking for some real help.
Thanks

I don't like your compression results. 20% diff between cylinders is high.

I agree that the difference in compression is not a great thing. But the compression is still acceptable. I don't understand how the difference in the 2 cylinders could cause this.
Thanks for your input.

Does it have a stock Harley camshaft? Put a vacuum gage on the back side of butterfly and see what it does.

Before what as others asked.
The diff compression/bleed down maybe pointing to ignition blowback if an intake valve is not fully seated.

If you put a vacuum gage on it and there is a lot of overlap on the cam shaft or the intake is leaking just from a little carbon build up, the vacuum gage will bounce like crazy.
