Default Is tire ok to keep riding on


Brand new tire looks like I ran over something and cut it don’t wanna have to spend money on new tire if not nessasary. Any feedback help would be appreciative

Did the tire get cut or is that a tread separation? Old is a "new" tire?

If it's a new Dunlop i would say it's a defective . Call Dunlop they will replace. If installed by a dealer call Dunlop first and get a replacement number before going to the dealer. Look for other cracks around the tire too. This has been a pretty common problem with the Dunlops.

It's necessary. Replace it.

Dunlop will replace it... I wouldn’t play around with rubber, all kinds of bad things can happen when a tire lets go.
