They've got to keep it open some how :<(

Reminds me of the joke about the Lone Ranger getting caught robbing a bank ... When asked why he replied "Heck man, SIlver Bullets cost a lot of money"

I was there about a year ago and they had a free tour and a paid tour. The paid tour was more involved than the free tour. They dont offer a free tour anymore?

I would consider getting a tour of the Harley factory to be entainment similar to other things you would expect to have to pay for like to going to the movies, a museum, a concert, a ball game or a guided tour in a bus or limo. You wanna play ya gotta pay. Ain't nuthin' fer nuthin' no mo.

A simple 10-second internet search would have informed the uninformed. Two different tours. One free. One paid.

I did a free tour years ago, if I recall they had a more in depth tour that could be paid for (same at the museum). How many other companies don't support customer tours at all?

Yep, but it's a lot easier to just complain.
We did the steel toe tour 2 years ago. You get right up in the action, get some keepsakes (pin, vest, picture of your group) and a coupon for $5 off in the gift shop. I'll do it again
