What do you guys think about this deal.
I'm thinking about buying a 2019 Road King Special. One of my local dealers gave me this offer for a Bonneville White. $26931.82 out the door with 4.29% APR, plus free upgrade to stage 1 and free tires for life. Doesn't sound terrible to me. What do you guys think?

I think thats a bit high on the bike but the rate is fairly common right now at that level with the fed raising interest rates this past year.

Nothing is free. Myself-I would never pay over MSRP but I am a poor man. But what matters is if you are happy with the deal. The dealer wants $26,931.82. The MSRP on a RK Special with a color option is $23,539.00, with freight (435.00) it is $23,974.00. $2975.82 is the difference. Tires, slip-on pipes and a stage one are not that much. Tires are actually pretty cheap, but the install is the cost factor. Installing the slip-ons and even the intake is pretty simple but I know some people do not want to do that. If the deal seems right to you and works for a budget you may have do it and don't look back. BTW tell them to throw in a windshield, they keep forgetting to put those on at the factory.

What is your local sales tax rate, if any, and what portion of the OTD is registration?
Asking if it is a "good deal" without knowing that information is hard to say as that varies from City to City and State to State. Once you break those values out, the question, and the answers, become more meaningful.
Good luck with your new bike.

the tires for life thing, well, that's a gimmick. in order to get that, you're gonna have to have all services done by them. do a service yourself, and that just went out the window.
free upgrade to stage 1? if you get to choose which air cleaner, and if you can choose the se free flow exhaust system which puts the cats under the saddlebags away from you, plus the street tuner, those items would be over $2,000.

I've bought a few new bikes and I have never paid the dealers shipping tax. Why pay their shipping on something they ordered as inventory? They have tried but I just walk away from the proposed deal if they try that crap. That's on them. If you ordered a bike special, and not in stock, I might see it. But, if it's part of their inventory, again, that's on them.
