Hey guys which norcal dealer do you think is best? Pondering buying a bike... maybe trade in. Also, i take it license, registration fees are fixed. But all others are negotiable correct? Looking for a straight up no bullchit dealer ... do they exist?

Mitchell’s HD in Modesto hands down! Good inventory, super nice people, been there a long time. They wont rip you off. Great service dept too.

 

Yuba City Harley great service.

 

Eagles Nest in Lathrop... They were good enough for SOA

 

I had best luck buying at Eagle's Nest, worst at Livermore. McGuire's was indifferent.

Worst service experience was at Eagle's nest. Repeatedly. Bad enough that when my water pump went out 2 exits from their dealership I paid to have my bike towed 30 miles home.

To be fair, the service department has turned over repeatedly there so it may or may not be good these days. I know some employees bailed & went to Livermore. It also wasn't the competency of the techs, rather how the department was run.

I was able to get about $2500 off list on my Limited back in '15, no setup. Who knows these days. They at least were straight up.

Sure wish there was a class in high school to teach people how to negotiate pricing on vehicles. Heck, houses too, for that matter.
