I just meant that in my mind, that section should be enclosed fender, and not some "splash guard". Is the Moco getting so cheap they can't put a full fender on anymore?
To answer your question,,,Yes, I would imagine a proper and secure installation would require removing the tire, if nothing else, to be able to access the fasteners efficiently.
I'd put a real fender on it, though..

Plugged in the ECM directly into the harness and the bike fired up, so Im assuming the ECM is still good. The bike still doesn't recognize the key fob as I had to manually put the code in. Is there a security module on the bike somewhere?

So I ended up buying a used PCIII on ebay for about $125, got it, now need some help on picking the right map, Im considering these 3:
Bike Info: I bought the bike used and the previous owner did all of the work:
S&S Big bore kit (I have no idea about the cams)

You can contact dynojet and they can probably explain the difference. However, not knowing the type of cam makes picking a map difficult. .
