Beware of ESP (Extended Service Plan)

Bought the plan a few years back. It was presented as the best thing ever, cover the repair of almost everything on my bike. GREAT! I'LL GET IT!
what they dont TELL you, some asshole sitting God knows where DETERMINES if the plan will cover your repair or not. Just because something breaks does not mean they will repair it as promised
Some jerk is saying my bike must have been wrecked for my swingarm to get bent. No, shes has never been layed down. Back brakes are rubbing. Rubbing so bad my rotor has turned blue.
They refused to do anything.
Damn bunch of crooks.
BEWARE! ITS NOT 100% GUARANTEED TO BE COVERED!

A lot of coverage is determined by how your dealership writes up the repairs. I had most of my cam conversion covered by ESP because they found a way to write up some of the wearable parts during the installation. Saved me like $700. I would try to work with a different dealership and see if they can help you.

File against them in small claims court. They won't want to show up and they will cover it. Helped someone do that on an engine failure that was declined.. For a $25.00 filing fee the company got the summons and wrote a check for the $7,000 repair.

Welcome to the forum. You might want to do a search on ESP. Lots of discussions over the last couple of months about the company and their financial health.

What I was told by a Harley dealership manager is exactly like you said, it's all how its presented.
That's a bunch of crap.

How did the swing arm get bent?
They don't bend by themselves.

Who is this ESP through?

Just because your brake is dragging doesn't mean the swingarm is bent. More likely a stuck caliper piston. Did you do any work involving the back wheel recently?

i'm gonna go with this one. and if it's just your brakes rubbing, that sounds like a maintenance issue, which the esp doesn't cover.
