Here’s the reason. I didn’t, couldn’t ride my hard tail chopper for a couple of years. Finally sold it. Worst thing I did in my life. Couldn’t sleep at night it bothered me so much. Then I bought and built my current bike. I will keep until I die. It will go to the “last man standing”.

85% of all Harleys made are still on the road today.

. . . The other 15% made it home.

I hate to admit it but my Sportster doesn't get ridden very much, maybe once every couple of weeks on average if I'm lucky. It is in a garage down south in the hills and I do ride it whenever I'm down there. It's a 98 and if I sold it I wouldn't get much money for it plus the full coverage insurance is only $80 a year. It is fun to ride when I get the chance.

I ride mine about 1000-1500 miles a month

I hate to buy a toy and let it go to waste

at least 50% of the bikes produced over the past 20 years
or approx 2,500,000
