Anyone want a NOS 2006 Superglide?

97 miles. Seriously. Why?

It's actually not a horrible price for the bike. If it were a 2007 I would actually be tempted.

Clean, but 2006 was not the best year for Dynas. Lacks locating dowels on the inner primary and trans case. 2007 was a bad year for Twin Cam cranks.

Hmmm, looks like the exhaust is discolored. Unless that’s an optical illusion, that’s quite a bit of discolor for having only 97 miles.

It’s not a low rider.

Ask him if you can bring it to a dealer to confirm the mileage off of the ECM. If he says no, then you know...

Probably one of the people that believe it's ok for a motor to be started regularly and left to sit and idle in order to keep it running.

I was coming here to say the exact same thing. They're kind of an orphan year. 1st year of 6sp, last year of 88", inner primary bearing issues (lack of locating dowels). I didn't know about the cranks though. What's the issue there?

The discolored exhaust is the first thing I noticed. Hell with 97 miles I doubt the spark plugs even got hot. How the hell does the exhaust get all funked up like that?

Good info on the model year issues. I've always wanted a 2006 with the White/Red/Blue paint scheme. But sounds like too much to worry about as far as the design. I was under the mistaken impression that in 2007 the issues had been cured, which I guess they have......only to make way for new problems.

On the discoloration - has to be something about the pictures. I can't imagine getting a bike so hot the heat shield would discolor like that. And even if you did manage to cook the bike so badly that happened, I would think the same would happen to the rear and certainly the front of the slip ons. But I could be wrong.

PS - I'm not interested in the bike. Just thought it was an oddity.
