How to fix my 18 inch apebars sliding back after a day or so

When you tighten the bars down the points on the washer dig into the riser and the bars and they won't move.
If you want to change the angle later simply loosen the clamp move the bars do desired position and re-tighten.
can you give me more ideas about this? How many washers? only one? What about the metal mesh for cleaning the dishes? I cant find the star washers in Europe....are they like standard washers or not?

i would think this is what hes referring to amd just one per side ought to be enough. Theyre not hard to bend and the teeth would give some bite.

You could also drill and tap your factory clamp and put some set screws in it, just tightening them to the bars.

i dont wanna drill anyhing.....i will try these washers....if the rubber wil not help....
somebody claimed rubber was perfect

You can get skateboard grip tape on Ebay or Amazon...Ebay has MOB

is it double sided? What is the difference between sanding paper?

No, the backing peels off and it has adhesive that sticks to the bars.
