fair price on 2018 street glide special?
wondering if any of you have done business with HorsePower HD in PA?
They have a street glide special used with almost 6k miles on it for $27k. Basically the bike of my dreams with that blue paint scheme.
Would that be a fair price or should I play hardball?
Not sure how much they could sell my bike for but they are not giving me much for it...
They only want to give me $9400 for my Road King 2013 (5.5k miles) peace officer edition
I have a hoppe fairing added to it with a double din stereo/nav and 4x 5" speakers
14" apes
Chrome trim upgraded throughout
Dyno Vision tuner
CFR pipes
Fuel Moto ceramic headers

2. How tricked out is the one you are looking at? PIPES? Upgrades? Add ons? ...? Is there a lot of added items that are a VALUE TO YOU! I think there would have to be in order to make it so appealing to you.
3. Is $27K out the door? Other than Tax and Tags, what else will you be paying for?
I purchased my '19 SGS during Bike Week down here in Florida...got 5K off MSRP with out even asking. Forty miles on the speedo, twelve of which was my test ride.
Me thinking you should be doing the math and evaluation with a little bit more serious thought.
Oh, and just for one more, the new Boom GTS on the '19's is bigger and better than the '18's...just saying!
Hardball, yep...I think they should do a lot better if not significantly upgraded from stock.

Here's the bike the OP is talking about: https://www.horsepowerhd.com/default...OwnedInventory
Looks bone stock, which begs the question... why are they asking MSRP for a year and a half old bike with 6k miles on it? Because it's a 115 anniversary edition?? Any new vehicle I purchase I ensure that TOTAL price out the door is at MSRP or less. For this USED bike, I'd be out the door at $23k.

kbb shows typical listing price as $24,255 and typical trade for your bike as $9,380. as mentioned previously, they don't care and aren't going to give you anything extra for your mods. you'd be better off taking them off and trying to sell them separate. i understand that dealers don't even use nada (they have some secret squirrel 'black' book) but, i have always used kbb and gotten in the ball park. either come down $3k or give you that much more in trade, and i'd be happy with that deal, being as it's the 'bike of your dreams' and all..... my philosophy on vehicle purchases is if i can get somewhere near, then i'm not gonna sweat the small difference. whereas some people would be willing to walk over $10.00.
