Since I put a 21" front wheel on my RGS the ABS went to crap, not ABSing and the light would come on shortly after starting out. A couple weeks ago the dealership replaced the ABS module but no change. Until recently. Just weird that the light no longer comes on and the brakes are working fine. Maybe the module needed a break-in period? Oh well. Posted here wondering if anybody that reads this has experienced any such abnormalities.

Never had that happen, but I HAVE taken things apart to try & fix them, couldn't find anything & when I put 'em back together, suddenly they're fixed.

I've found that when the problem stops on it's own, it's usually just waiting for you to get confident so it can quit again at the worst possible time.

Like Dickey, I've also had things start working after taking it apart and finding no problem.

I hate it when this happens. It sounds like a poor wiring connection. The problem will probably return, you'll never know where or when, but it will probably be at the most inopportune moment.

It's good because the problem is gone. It's bad because you don't know what caused the problem, and the problem usually comes back. Probably wiring.

Bulb burned out

In all seriousness, nothing mechanical fixes itself. Dig deeper or ride as if you don't have ABS.
