They're using it to go after Honda's prime Asian market. Cool looking little bike, like an XLR.

Bingo. Lots of people complain about how expensive they are and then bad mouth the company when they make a cheaper bike, whining about image and a made up "premium" label. And it's not even in the american market to boot!
Can't have your cake and eat it too guys.

It is a good looking bike. Lots of questions though:
Can they make any money on them?
How many a day/month can they produce and will that be enough to turn a profit?
How many will they have to sell to make what they clear on one CVO Limited?
Will it keep entry level buyers coming back to the brand for upgrades?
I really don't know or understand the Asian market so I trust they know what they are doing. But here in the US where they have been #1 they should be killing the competition. Better colors, better performance, easy to use Navigation, Super customer service and support that addresses the issues and longer warranty period. Then they really need to design and build that bike/trike/etc that appeals to the masses. I'm getting sick of all the Can Ams and Slingshots. They are so late to the Adventure bike market with nothing special that it will probably not be a success either.
Oh well carry on.
