Phone glare

Why when someone uses there phone for navigation people say things like "playing with their phone or keep the phone in your pocket"? Breaking news, "using a phone for GPS is a real thing!"
Glare is something that doesn't happen for too long unless you are heading in the same direction for a long distance. Are you able to route the directions through the stereo or headset for the time being?
Maybe Glare Stomper will work for you?

RAM X-Grip and I can adjust the angle of the phone so that I do not get sun glare. I can adjust it while riding if I don’t crank down on the tension and just keep it so I can move it. If it’s too tight I just loosen the nut until I can move it and if you loosen just too much that it drops it will not fall off unless to really loosen the nut. I have been doing this for years when I had gps mounted on bars with ram mounts.
