Default Help me replace my passenger foot pegs

1994 Fatboy. Factory passenger foot pegs. I want to replace the passenger foot pegs with small flip-out floorboards -OR- fatter/longer foot pegs. In short, I want a longer surface for her feet than the standard foot pegs.

I've been all through J&P Cycles' website and frankly, I feel like an idiot because I can't seem to discern whether the foot pegs on there are meant to replace the passenger pegs or be mounted on the highway bar for the rider, or what exactly. They don't really explain it. It looks like most pegs with a male connection can be mounted in the factory bracket. Or am I missing something?

On the touring bikes the same pegs/boards double for highway/passenger. Good luck!!!

My experience has shown that the passenger and highway pegs have different size fittings and are not interchangeable.

Thanks, but if you'll look at the second picture, they appear to be mounted on the highway bar to be used by the rider and not the passenger. That's the source of my confusion.

But.... they clearly look like they would mount right up to my passenger foot peg brackets.

Maybe I'll just see if I can get a J&P rep into a chat.

Well, I have some on the way:

Amazon Amazon

Nothing fancy, but they should provide more surface area and better shock absorption than the stock rubber-covered sticks.
