They do tend to turn yellowish if you don't put time in for regular cleaning & bleaching.

Magic Erasers work really, really well at keeping white walls clean. And since you already have a jack, it's even easier.
Honestly, they're not as much trouble as most people think.
That said, on your particular bike, my vote is no. I don't think they would add aesthetically to it's appearance.

+1 here. TOTAL pain in the a$$. I put them on my sporty and have regretted it. Next tires MAY have the white lettering, but that would be it...definitely no white walls ever again.
