Ck all the fuses?
What's the battery like and volts?

Hounddog07 06-10-2019 08:37 AM

All the fuses are good that I can find on the whole bike and it has a brand new battery

RHPAW 06-10-2019 09:09 AM

Are there any other relays on the frame near the battery?

Hounddog07 06-10-2019 09:10 AM

Yes 2 they seem to work .

Make sure of that...I had one go bad this Spring that shut down everything on the dash and the turn signals.

The turn signals work and when you arm the system with the handle bar switch thr tack will move just a touch .

Try switching the plugs to the relays to see if it makes any difference.

Makes carburetors and points look good.

It is fuel injected

Check fuses again to see if they blew instantly. Wouldn't surprise me. Then figure out why it blew.#### edit I thought you replaced a fuse once. I would still makes sure with meter they are all good if you haven't.
If you can jumper something and it works, you need to figure out why the coil is not picking up.

ECM controls everything, don't hear about them failing much, so I would check everything with a meter a drawing. But it is old.

My 01 TSSM has been funny for years.

Have you checked all your cables from the battery to the starter, to grounds for cable integrity or corrosion.

Check the power connector to the ignition switch. My bike had some lights but fuel pump wouldn't come on or fire. The plug had backed off reconnected good to go and I put a gob of silicone to hold it.

On my FLHR I think I tywrapped the connector together, I didn't like it. Maybe it acted up too, can't remember.

That 2002 dresser has a Delphi EFI system. Point is there’s a procedure to check for codes. Google for that process and you should get some idea of what’s going on.

I think that was his point.

Ya he is a_____. Who here has points, or wants them? I still got carbs. But not all that much. I am not driving my car from highschool.
