I had one on an 883 Superlow. The price is less for the smaller one, so I splurged. It did what they claimed it did. If I rode more often at night on dark roads, I'd probably get one for my current bike. It was nice to be able to see up through the curves.

Man that seems pretty cool. 1 year warranty or did I read their warranty wrong?

I'm already gonna be in 230ish for hogworkz, might have to up that a bit for these.

I don't ride to work currently but if I start, there's lots of deer and some curves where I can see this being beneficial.

I didn't realize how lucky to just be alive and not disabled with all the night riding I before LEDs. Hell, I bought two bikes with incandescent headlight bulbs.

Take a look at the Custom Dynamics Pro Beam. It's several hundred cheaper and has a really wide beam that lights the side of the road. I also looked at the JW unit but was really impressed by the CD after taking my buddies bike for a ride that had the CD.

I have on on my FXR3, and I had the full setup on my 2005 Fatboy. They really brightened everything up, especially when I turned the passing lights on. Great system if you have the money for it

oh man. I was looking at the wrong jw model. I was looking at the price of the non adaptive which is mid 400s or so. I was like man that's not too bad. I didn't realize they were 650 and up. that's probably outta my league vs buying a regular LED.

I know, right? And before all the safety nerds took over with their "motor-cycle" things, people used to ride horses, that had their own brains & could just decide to not do what you want & run off with you, or throw you off 😳😁.

Good natured ribbing aside, people drive faster, with less skill (in my unverified opinion), and pay less attention than ever. LED's are brighter, and last longer. I'll take whatever advantage I can get.

I installed the JW Speaker Adaptive 2 on my Street Glide a couple of weeks ago. Rode with it at night last weekend, works great. Broad beam, so it lights up the sides well and it throws light well down the road. The corners and curves I took were lit up better than any light before. I consider it to be vastly better than any of the other 4 (yes, 4) headlights I've tried.
As to the cost, if you can afford it, do it. If it just seems like too much, there are other lights that are almost as good, but probably not in the corners.

I had one on my ‘17 Street Glide, it was fabulous! I didn’t need any other aux lights. If you factor in the cost of auxiliary lighting then yes, it’s worth the money.
