Default FXDR Bagger

So I got the prototype bags on (from a kawasaki vulcan S). They are on backwards, but they fit the contour of the bike, and rub the rear tire if I put them on regular.

Pretty neat!

Hey, if they work for you and you’re happy, then the project was a success. I think they look out of place being up and in front of the rear wheel like that though. Do you plan to move them back if you can?

That's how you do bags on a Dyna...although your bike is a tad different

Props to you for the idea and execution. It's bags on a FXDR. I don't see it getting any better than that.

Didn't know they still made them? NOS? ;-)

Reminds me of a big race I attended. (human powered bikes)

There was 3-4 (German?) dudes standing around commenting on the different designs. They were 6'5" to 6'8" tall.
My fastest race bike was sitting next to the Polish version (I was inspired by).
Looking at the back ends of the bikes;

In a broken 'Arnold accent one says, " This one looks like Rosie O'Donnell and the American one looks like Brook Burke, (10 years ago?)

GO-GO-GOMEZ, Mortisha would be proud!

(still think they should be rotated up/back a few degrees)
