I'll be interested to hear what you think. Particularly if you had an Akoury previously.

 

I use an Akoury 88. I ordered the equivalent 66. It looks identical down to the liner. Ordered a size down from my Akoury as it did stretch over time.

 

Perfect, that's exactly what I am looking to do. How much time are you talking on the stretch? I ordered a small, as I was told it would shrink over time. It's more snug still than I like it, although I may not use it as much as you do.

 

At speed mine is loose enough to blow back to the top of my hairline. It took a couple weeks of wear for it to break in and stretch out. At first it was perfect and after a couple weeks it was a tad too big.

 

I can confirm that the Hamrhead helmets are identical to the Akoury. Right down to the hardware.

 

i got a survey email and i filled it out. needless to say they don't post surveys they don't like. if you are not sucking nuts they don't post the results.


also just used it to ride to my office and i don't like it. already threw away the box and i rode with it so they aren't going to take it back so i now have $110 paper weight.

 

I have an 88 and like it a lot. Last half helmet I bought was a HD Crossroads. Had the alien look. Put it on the old helmet shelf. Too bad to hear the Akoury might be history.

 

i have not seen an akoury helmet recall. where/when did you see one?

 

I didn't get a recall notice either.
My Acouky grew, it was snug now it moves on my head and the Mat coating is peeling.
If you think these aren't DOT the Crazy Al's is worse.
