I agree I guess I was trying to say that you need to break your butt in. I do have a custom Seat Concepts seat on my dual sport bike and it is as good as it gets. The stock Harley seat is OK but it needs to be improved. I have been researching the "foam" inside these name brand seats and that seems to be the answer. I want to get a chunk of this foam for my Harley seat and DIY trim/sculpture the "foam". Then R&R the leather cover over new "foam" is easy enough. Anybody here try a DIY "foam" replace on theirs?

I you could send your seat to a custom seat builder and tell them to have really soft or memory foam put where your tail bone and a same piece put down the middle where you urinary tract runs? This might help you, Now the rest of the seat should be addressed as well..

I got an Alaska Leather Co. sheepskin and it was an improvement over stock on my '17 Roadglide. Then I got an Airhawk, which, if you follow the directions, is much improved in relieving the pressure on your butt-bones. Now I use the Airhawk under the sheepskin and it seems to be just fine. Better than spending lots of hundreds chasing the perfect seat, IMO.

Hammock
I just back back from a 6 day ride in South Dakota. What a beautiful place to ride. I installed a Hammock seat before we left as my stock seat killed my tail end. I was nervous about trying any new seat as you just don't have a way to know if it suits you. The new Hammock seat was spectacular. I never had the pain in the rear I was used to.

The fellas at Wolverine HD in Mt. Clemens, MI here suggested the Hammock as well. Thanks for taking the time to come back and let us know your thoughts.
