The Harley dealer in Brighton, MI will sell used metrics, but what really shocked me was seeing they carried new Triumph bikes. The salesman said they got some sort of waiver from HD to carry the line because they don't compete on a direct basis with most of the bikes from Triumph. They had a sharp looking Bonneville Speedmaster that caught my eye, but it's smaller than I wanted. I didn't see a Rocket III on the floor, but that has more power than I'd ever need.

Harley Davidson of Louisville, a very old HD dealer, also sells BMW bikes. They have both new and used BMW bikes on their showroom floor alongside Harley bikes.

We have used metrics for sale at our dealership. They aren't displayed on the showroom floor but, used Harleys aren't either. The "sales floor" is reserved for new bikes.

I've never seen it but could be a side sale non Harley by the dealership owner. A sale is a sale. Gotta keep the money flowing.

I see it all the time, but like Piper said...they are always outside.

At HD only dealerships, I’ve seen them usually outside and there’s never many. We do have several multi-brand dealerships around. They carry all brands of bikes and are all lined up next to each other.

Arkport Cycles is like that.

Yes, they were used bikes.
Three Honda 700 cc adventure bikes
Two BMW adventure bikes and the other I forgot.

Is this a normal HD practice? I have never seen it before.
I saw them too. No doubt they were taken in on trade. They used to keep those in the back when it was Rocket HD, before Russom bought it and remodeled.
