Default Running a bike with out pipes for a test and need some help

So I removed my old pipes to put on a new set , and just to see what it looks like at night I started the bike . And what I’m seeing is the rear cylinder puts out a very faint amount of blue flames but yet the front cylinder puts out about 3 inches of flames .
So shouldn’t they be the same ?

What did you think you were going see ? There's fire going on in there ! If you only started it for a second you will be OK, but i wouldn't do it again.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see what it would look like holding the throttle wide open ?

What do you mean "test"? Test what? What were you hoping to learn?

Not questioning what you're saying but I'm curious what is going on in this situation that would burn the valves?

Dunno about burning valves, but I've seen valves warped under those circumstances.
Engine runs, valve gets just under red hot. Then shut off, cold air rushes in the port, and warps the valve or bends the stem.

Burned was probably the wrong term. As OlAndrew said, it's an old hot rodder's description of warped.
