Passing or driving light adjustment?
Does anyone know the proper way to adjust the passing lights on a road king? My passing lamps shine higher than my headlight when I shine them against the wall, is this correct. Thanks for any help.

RE: Passing or driving light adjustment?
If your passing lamps shine higher then your head lamp, you are most likley blinding oncoming traffic. I just gave mine a little shove downward to adjust mine without loosining any bolts. I'm pretty sure if yours are like mine theres a bolt on the bottom.

There is a diagram in the service manual that will show you how to adjust them. You will need to buy or make a socket that will fit over the wire that goes through the 9/16" nut that hold the lamp tight. I made mine out of a deep 9/16" socket from the pawn shop. You also need a 5/32" allen wrench to remove the turn signal from the light bracket. An allen wrench with a ball head works the best.

Moving them is not a problem I just needed to know how low to aim them. What does it say in the service manual? Thanks all for the help.
